Thrippy Phlail! "TRHIPPY PHLAIL!" was recorded at Sinclair Studios in Victoria B.C. this album features the unique songwriting talents of Brin, Travis and Nick, as well as their collaborative magic. This album delves into the many vibrant, melodic and rhythmic colors of funk-rock, reggae, jungle grooves and lush psychedelia. It is inspired by the Party's youthful energy and experience, takes you from the warming rays of the sun on your funky lover's tangled dreads as you are blissfully awoken by the cops in the park on a perfect summer day, to the harsh cold reality of isolation that slowly drives one mad, and all the fun in between.
